The Gamepro Tyto is the more powerful of Gamepro’s two corded 12 V spotlights. Because it draws from the vehicle, it can run for a whole night of patrol or game viewing, and its 145 mm reflector puts the 4,000-lumen beam out to around 805 metres.
Practical use
The 3-metre straight cord reaches from the cigarette-lighter socket to either front window or the load bed. The single on/off switch keeps operation simple with gloves on, and the red filter cuts glare when spotting animals. Aluminium and ABS construction keeps the weight at about 680 grams.
