The NEBO Galileo 1000 is a compact lantern that throws light in every direction at up to 1,000 lumens, dims smoothly, and switches to a 120-degree mode when you only want to light one side of the table. Its rechargeable 18650 cell also feeds a USB output for charging small devices.
Practical use
Full 360-degree output lights a family tent or a stoep; the 300-lumen 120-degree mode runs for about six hours and stops the light shining in everyone’s eyes; the fully dimmed setting lasts over ten hours for overnight use. Two red modes keep night vision and run for 12 to 30 hours, which is useful for long load-shedding evenings or as a night light for children.
